Everyday Academics
Our students are split into three academic sections. Students are placed in a section based on their, grade, academic performance, and understanding of the concepts. Our goal is that students are successful, yet challenged, in their academic section.
 
Our sections are named after parts of the river. You will find additional resources and links to web pages below for each section. Check back regularly as we will update these links as they become available.

Graduation Credit Requirements
The REA graduation requirements exceed MN State Standards and therefore students who graduate from REA will be prepared for a wide variety of post-secondary opportunities. Students earn .25 credit per class, per quarter, totaling one credit in a full subject area for one school year. Graduation requirements are described below.
 
Academic Courses (4 – total in each subject area)
Language Arts, Humanities (Social Studies), Mathematics & Science.
 
Elective Courses (8 – total)
The electives listed below are an example of the variety of courses offered at REA. Elective courses earn .25 credit
per quarter, .5 credit per semester, and Intensive courses are taken for .5 elective credit.
